The Äbeni Fluh is a beautiful peak in the Bernese Alps that offers a great view.
We are in a grandiose high mountain environment
Already immediately after leaving the hut, on the Äbeni Fluh glacier it is necessary to get around some large crevasses. The same
applies to the slope below the summit.
Access to the Hollandia hut from the from the Lötschental - it is an excellent test for the ascent to the summit
The ascent from Fafleralp to the Hollandia hut is particularly varied and can be done as a trip in itself. The itinerary takes you to the deep Lötschental first among the mountain pastures of Gletscherstafel then through large woods and in the periglacial landscape of the Langgletscher, touching ponds and increasingly sporadic vegetation. Under the Anenhütte you enter the Langgletscher and find your way between the crevasses up to the Lötschenlücke and following the hut
